Adaptive reuse of a former grocery building into a 40,516 SF public library, completed in 2011. Flowing curved walls and decorative colored glass transform the retail facade into an inviting civic landmark. Features a 200-seat meeting room, children's area, teen zone, and quiet study spaces. The design emerged from eleven community meetings. Project budget: $6M.
